Τις υποψηφιότητες σε 23 κατηγορίες παρουσιάζουν σε ζωντανή σύνδεση από το Λος Άντζελες η ηθοποιός, τραγουδίστρια, παρουσιάστρια και κόρη της Νταϊάνα Ρος Τρέισι Έλις Ρος και ο Αμερικανός ηθοποιός, σεναριογράφος και τραγουδιστής Λέσλι Τζόρνταν («Call Me Cat», «Will & Grace»). Το φετινό σύνθημα των Όσκαρ είναι «Movie Lovers Unite».
Η 94η τελετή απονομής των Όσκαρ θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Κυριακή 27 Μαρτίου στο Dolby Theater στο Χόλιγουντ και θα μεταδοθεί live από το αμερικανικό τηλεοπτικό δίκτυο ABC και σε περισσότερες από 200 περιοχές σε όλο τον κόσμο. Για πρώτη φορά μετά το 2018, η τελετή θα έχει οικοδεσπότη.
